Join us for a fun run fundraiser for the Pontiac Creative Arts Center (PCAC), kicking off their Day of the Dead celebrations, on Saturday, November 1 at 9am.
The fun run will begin and end at PCAC (47 Williams St, Pontiac, MI), with a route taking the nearby Clinton River Trail. This is a non-timed event. All paces are welcome to join, including walkers. There is a minimum $5 donation to participate.
Prior to the run, participants will be asked to send an image of a loved one (family member, friend, pet, etc…) that they would like to honor who has passed. The Super Run Club team will print the photo on a Polaroid ahead of the event, and it will be given to the participant upon arrival at PCAC. Everyone will “run with” their loved one (we’ll provide pins if you’d like to attach to your outfit) and then upon completion of the run, the Polaroid can be placed on PCAC’s community ofrenda.
Coffee and Mexican treats from local Sheila’s Bakery will await finishers to enjoy in PCAC, while getting a first look at the Ofrenda Community exhibition, which opens later that day to the public.

Café y antojitos de la panadería local Sheila’s Bakery esperarán a los finalistas para disfrutarlos en el PCAC, mientras tienen la oportunidad de ver por primera vez la exposición comunitaria de la Ofrenda, que se abrirá al público más tarde ese mismo día.
